New Operator Revives Century-Previous Richmond Barbershop
RICHMOND, Va. — Two months after its scissors went silent, a longtime Richmond barbershop is again in enterprise with a brand new operator.
The century-old William Byrd Lodge Barber Store reopened two weeks in the past after shuttering in late October.
The short-term closure was because of a change in operators after the earlier leaseholders opted to not renew their lease. The closure allowed time for Epoch Properties, the high-rise constructing’s property supervisor, to line up a brand new proprietor.
Working the store now could be Sean Trembley, a barber relocating to Richmond after 4 years reducing hair in Williamsburg and Norfolk.
